Machine Description and Intended UseDescriptionThe Wacker Neuson skid steer and compact track loaders are self-propelled work machines.These machines are versatile and powerful helpers for moving earth, gravel, and debris on construction sites and elsewhere. A wide range of attachments allow for numerous different applications of the machines in various environments.
When using these attachments, observe the legal regulations of your country and equip the machine with all the safety equipment required.The main components of the machine are:
In accordance with this designated use, the machine may only be used for moving earth, gravel, coarse gravel or ballast, and rubble. It may also be operated with approved attachments for additional applica-tions.
No other applications are designated for the use of the machine. Wacker Neuson will not be liable for damage resulting from use other than mentioned above. The operator alone will bear the risk.
Designated Use includes following the instructions set forth in the Operator’s Manual and following the maintenance schedule.

Machine operation

- Using a floor jack and jack stands, raise the side of the machine that
needs its track adjusted. - Loosen the screws and swing the cover down.
- Apply grease into the valve with a grease gun.
- Check the track tension again, referencing the table in Checking Track
Tension. If the track tension is still out of specification, repeat steps 3
through 5. - If the track still does not have enough tension after applying grease
again, do not put the machine into operation. Contact a Wacker
Neuson dealer. - Lower the machine to the ground.
- Reinstall the cover.
Reducing track tension - Using a floor jack and jack stands, raise the side of the machine that
needs its track adjusted. - Stop the engine.
- Slowly turn the valve a maximum one revolution counterclockwise
to release the grease into a suitable container.
- The grease flows out of the groove of the valve.
Environment
Use a suitable container to collect fluids and lubricants as they
flow out and dispose of them in an environmentally friendly
manner.
- Tighten the valve until it is snug.
- Check the track tension again, referencing the table in Checking Track
Tension. If the track tension is still out of specification, repeat
procedures for increasing or reducing track tension as needed. - If the track still does not have enough tension after applying grease
again, do not put the machine into operation. Contact a Wacker
Neuson dealer. - Lower the machine to the ground.
- Reinstall the cover.
