- Park the tractor on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
- Remove the wheel/tire assembly on the side you wish to service.
- Locate the brake components, which may include the brake drum or disc, brake pads, brake caliper, and brake lines.
- Inspect the brake components for wear or damage. If any parts are worn or damaged, replace them with new ones.
- Remove the brake pads from the brake caliper. If the brake pads are worn, replace them with new ones. If the brake caliper is damaged or worn, replace it with a new one.
- Use a brake cleaning solution to clean the brake rotor or drum and the caliper components.
- Reinstall the brake pads and caliper, and torque the bolts to the manufacturer”s specifications.
- Replace the wheel/tire assembly, and torque the lug nuts to the manufacturer”s specifications.
- Repeat the process for the other side of the tractor.
