For safety Kubota operations, be sure to observe the following directions and precautions.

First of all, please read this Operator’s Manual carefully and
get familiar with your Kubota Tractor. Every time you
drive it, ensure that everything is in order.

The following are general safety precautions to prevent accidents and troubles. Later in this manual, you will find other particular safety precautions related to individual operations.

1 . FUEL SUPPLY AND ENGINE START
(1) Always stop the engine before refueling.
(2) To avoid the danger of exhaust fume poisoning, do not
keep the engine running for a long time in a closed
garage.

(3) Before starting the engine, sit on the seat, disengage the
clutch, place the high-low gear shift lever in the neutral
position and the speed set knob in the release position.

2. STARTING
When starting the tractor, check to see that there are no
people around. To back the tractor, check to see that
there are no obstacles around it.

3. OPERATION
(1) Unreasonable driving such as operation on a slope or
under an extremely heavy workload.~ may tip the
tractor over.

(2) Keep the safety cover on, otherwise a hand or finger
maybe caught by rotating parts.

(3) When working in cooperation with other tractors, let
the other drivers know what you are doing at every job
start.

Your dealer is interested in your new tractor and has the desire to help you get the most value from it. After reading this manual thoroughly, you will find that you can do many of the regular service jobs.

However, when in need of parts or major service, be sure to see your KUBOTA dealer.

When in need of parts, be prepared to give your dealer both the tractor and engine serial numbers.

The tractor serial number is located on the clutch housing case, left side. The engine serial number is located on the engine crankcase, right side.

Locate the serial numbers now and record them in the space provided.
